Steve Laracy is a mystery writer, writing crime stores inspired by Raymond Chandler and Dashiell Hammett, as well as lighter mysteries told from a humorous perspective. His novel, Traces of the Past, has been published by Milford House.
Short stories featuring Jack Kovacs, a private investigator in Chicago from the 1920s to the 1940s have been published in Clare Literary Journal and Candlesticks and Daggers: An Anthology of Mixed-Genre Mysteries.
